Chocolate Logs/Balls

  1. Melt chocolate in microwave.
  2. Be careful not to burn it.
  3. Soften the cream cheese in a mixing bowl and mix in the rum essence.
  4. Crumble the cake and add to the cheese mixture.
  5. Mix in well.
  6. Add the melted chocolate and mix inches.
  7. Chop the glace cherries into quarters and add these and the walnuts to the mixing bowl.
  8. Mix everything in really well.
  9. Should be a nice creamy consistency.
  10. Slightly wet hands and roll mixture either into logs or balls.
  11. If making balls do not make them too big as mixture is very rich.
  12. Coat balls/logs in coconut.
  13. Refridgerate in an airtight container until set.
  14. Balls/logs can be freezed and will last for a fair while.
  15. If you have made logs, slice them into bite size pieces when you serve them.
  16. Enjoy!
