Mamaw's Chicken Casserole
- 3 lb Chicken
- 1 cup Celery
- 1/2 cup Chopped onion
- 1/2 packages Herb-seasoned Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
- 1/2 packages Cornbread stuffing mix
- 1 can Chicken broth
- 1 can Cream of chicken soup
- 1 Salt
- 1 Pepper
- Pour soup in bottom of 10x6x2 inch baking dish.
- Pour 1/4 cup broth over the soup and place shredded or cubed chicken on top.
- Simmer celery, onion, and margarine in 2 cups broth until tender.
- Combine with cornbread and stuffing mix and place on top of chicken .
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour enough broth over chicken to a soupy state.
- Bake 30 minutes at 350F.
