The Perfect Faux Tato/Turnip

  1. Peel and cube turnips.
  2. Cover with cold water - add a pinch of salt and boil until fork tender.
  3. Drain WELL -.
  4. Add cream cheese (I usually pick a flavored one - i.e.
  5. onion, or roasted garlic) and mash.
  6. Return to LOW heat to allow some of the excess moisture to evaporate--stir occasionally.
  7. Add pepper and any other seasoning desired for flavor.
  8. Serve.
