Roy's Lima Beans Recipe

  2. Wash and cook lima.
  3. (i.e.
  4. cover them with water, with ham hocks and bring to a boil, turn off heat and let stand for 1 hour..Don't REMOVE THE LID!!!!
  5. !Then bring to a boil again, reduce heat and simmer till tender.)

  7. When beans are tender, add in the tomatoes, onions, bell peppers and simmer.
  8. 3.
  9. They're ready...
  10. The second day they are even better.
  11. Serve with home made cornbread.
