Baked French Toast Recipe

  1. Grease a 9" square pan.
  2. Arrange bread slices, overlapping to fill pan completely.
  3. In bowl, combine Large eggs, lowfat milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg; mix well.
  4. Proportionately spread over bread slices; cover and chill overnight.
  5. Next day:Preheat oven to 350F.In bowl, combine margarine, sugar, walnuts and corn syrup; mix well.
  6. Proportionately spread over bread.
  7. Bake for 40 min or possibly till puffed and golden brown.
