Hot Salsa for Hamburgers Hot dogs
- 1/2 medium Onion
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 1/2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 1/2 ~ 2 tablespoons Tomato ketchup
- 1 Salt and black pepper
- 1 as much (to taste) Chili pepper (cayenne pepper)
- Take the seeds out of the tomatoes and cut them into small cubes.
- If you mind the skin, peel them in boiling water.
- I left skin on in the picture.
- Saute the chopped onions and garlic in olive oil.
- Add the tomatoes when the onions become translucent.
- Saute until the tomatoes lose their shape and meld with the onions.
- Add ketchup, salt and pepper, and saute for a bit to cook the sourness out of the ketchup.
- To finish, add as much chili pepper as you like.
