Gold Cake Recipe

  1. Sift together flour and baking pwdr till well combined.
  2. Cream butter Or possibly shortening well, add in sugar.
  3. Beat.
  4. Add in egg yolks, beaten till light, and vanilla.
  5. Mix.
  6. Stir in a small portion of flour/baking pwdr mix, then pour in a small amount of lowfat milk.
  7. Repeat, beating after each addition till all ingredients are used.
  8. To avoid a tough cake texture, don't overbeat.
  9. Pour batter into a greased and floured baking pan.
  10. Bake at 350
