Chive-and-Garlic Knots

  1. Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic; saute 30 seconds or until lightly browned.
  3. Remove from heat; stir in garlic powder.
  4. Unroll the French bread dough onto a lightly floured surface; brush dough with garlic mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the dough with chives and cheese.
  6. Cut the dough crosswise into 12 strips.
  7. Shape each strip into a knot.
  8. Place the knots onto a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 17 minutes or until lightly browned.
  10. Serve warm.
