Creamy Egg Omu-hayashi
- 2 rice bowls Hot cooked white rice
- 1 Frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 slice Bacon
- 1 1/2 tbsp Margarine or butter
- 3 tbsp Ketchup
- 4 Eggs
- 3 cubes Store-bought hayashi rice roux
- 200 ml Water
- 1 dash Sugar, salt
- 1 Butter
- Heat margarine in a frying pan and saute the mixed vegetables and bacon.
- Add the rice and stir-fry.
- Season with ketchup, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer Step 1 to two plates.
- Break the eggs into a bowl and add the sugar and salt.
- Beat together.
- Add butter into a warm pan and pour in the egg mixture at once.
- Stir to form the omelet.
- Bring the omelet to the side of the pan closest to you, and top it on the Step 2 ketchup rice.
- Use a knife to cut a slit down the middle and open it up.
- Top with demi-glace sauce and garnish with parsley.
- Hayashi RiceIt's also delicious on this!
- If you like, add 3 tablespoons of milk and 1 teaspoon of sugar to the eggs.
- It'll become like scrambled eggs.
