Chocolate Fudge Pecan Pie

  1. In the top of a double boiler set over simmering water, melt together the chocolate and butter.
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs until frothy.
  3. Gradually add the sugar, salt and lemon juice.
  4. Slowly add the chocolate mixture until thoroughly blended.
  5. Stir in the pecans.
  6. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
  7. Bake in a preheated 350u0b0 oven until the pie is flaky, about 35 minutes.
  8. Do not chill.
  9. Cool pie completely and serve with the whipped cream. Makes 8 servings.
