Barbequed Meatballs Recipe
- 3 lbs. grnd beef
- 1 (12 ounce.) can evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 c. oatmeal
- 1 c. cracker crumbs
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoon chili pwdr
- To make meatballs, combine all ingredients (mix will be soft) and shape into small balls.
- Place meatballs in a single layer on wax paper-lined cookie sheets; freeze till solid.
- Store frzn meatballs in freezer bags till ready to cook.
- To make sauce, combine all ingredients and stir till sugar is dissolved.
- Place frzn meatballs in a 13x9x2 inch baking pan; pour on the sauce.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
- Yield: 80 meatballs.
- This is my most requested recipe at potluck suppers.
