Spinach Pesto Pasta

  1. Cook pasta to desired doneness as directed on package.
  2. Drain.
  3. Place in large serving bowl; cover to keep warm.
  4. Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine basil and hot water; set aside.
  5. In food processor bowl with metal blade, process garlic until chopped.
  6. Add spinach, cheese, almonds and salt; process with on/off pulses until chopped.
  7. Add basil mixture; pulse to mix.
  8. Slowly add oil and lemon juice; process until well blended.
  9. Add spinach mixture to hot cooked pasta; toss gently to mix.
