Crispy Sweet Tea Fried Chicken
- 1/2 cup Sweet Tea (1/2 to 1 cup)
- 1/3 cup Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Each...Salt.Pepper.Garlic Powder.Onion Powder.Cayenne Pepper.Red Pepper Flakes. (more or less to taste) and leave out one of the red pepper spices if you dont like so much spice...
- 2 Large Skinless Boneless Chicken Breasts
- 1 cup Flour (seasoned with salt,pepper,and montreal seasoning)
- 2 Eggs (beaten)
- 1 Peanut Oil (for frying)
- Let chicken marinate overnight in mixture.
- Add peanut oil to deep frying pan or skillet and heat to medium.
- In two separate bowls...beat your eggs in one and put your flour mixture in the other.
- Dip marinated chicken breast in egg...then flour...
- Egg...then flour again.
- Coating thoroughly.
- Drop in heated oil.
- Fry until both sides of chicken are golden brown and fully cooked.
- I usually give it 4 to 5 minutes each side, depending on the size of my chicken breast.
- When done, let drain on papertowel and serve with honey mustard :)
