For Your Bento! Crispy Sauteed Potatoes

  1. Julienne the potatoes and carrots into slightly thick slices.
  2. The carrots should be slightly thinner as they take longer to cook.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and saute the potatoes and carrots.
  4. When the potatoes become translucent and the vegetables have cooked through, add the mentsuyu, stir, then remove from heat.
  5. Sprinkle on bonito flakes and aonori to taste, a few shakes of sesame seeds, and it's ready to serve.
  6. It's good even without aonori.
