For Your Bento! Crispy Sauteed Potatoes
- 1/2 large Potato
- 1/5 Carrot
- 1 tsp Vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp Mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
- 1 Bonito flakes
- 1 Aonori
- 1 Sesame seeds
- Julienne the potatoes and carrots into slightly thick slices.
- The carrots should be slightly thinner as they take longer to cook.
- Heat oil in a pan and saute the potatoes and carrots.
- When the potatoes become translucent and the vegetables have cooked through, add the mentsuyu, stir, then remove from heat.
- Sprinkle on bonito flakes and aonori to taste, a few shakes of sesame seeds, and it's ready to serve.
- It's good even without aonori.
