Mike's Kids Chili Bowl

  1. Fry your meats in oil until fully cooked.
  2. Dash pork with salt and pepper as desired.
  3. Drain both on paper towels once fully cooked.
  4. Chop your pork into small pieces.
  5. Chop all your vegetables into small pieces.
  6. Throw everything - including spices - in the pot and simmer on medium.
  7. Stir regularly until your pork is soft.
  8. Usually about an hour and a half.
  9. Add only 1 can beef broth and then, add the other as you desire for your chili's thickness or, thinness.
  10. Just prior to serving, taste test your chili.
  11. Knowing that seasonings will diminish with long simmer times - the girls lastly added 1 tablespoon of Chili Powder, 1 teaspoon minced garlic and additional Tabasco.
  12. But, that's entirely up to you!
  13. Consider adding a handful of shreadded cheese and stir it in just before serving.
  14. Serve with any one of these delicious sides.
  15. Corn bread, bread, Frito Corn Chips, shreadded cheese, sour cream, avacados and their favorite hot sauce.
  16. Enjoy!
