Chocolate Caramel Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 2" x 9" x 13" baking pan with a large piece of aluminum foil, allowing edges to hang over sides.
  2. Coat evenly with nonstick cooking spray; set pan aside.
  3. In large bowl, combine 2 cups flour and next four ingredients, tossing to combine.
  4. Cut in butter with fingers or two knives, used scissor-fashion, until crumbly.
  5. Press half the crumb mixture into prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake 15 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle crust with chocolate chips and pecans.
  8. Whisk caramel topping and remaining 1/4 cup flour until smooth; drizzle over chips and pecans.
  9. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
  10. Bake 18 to 20 minutes more, until golden brown.
  11. Cool on a wire rack for 2 hours before cutting.
