Vietnamese Green Papaya Shrimp Salad
- 12 cup vietnamese hot sauce (Nuoc Cham)
- 1 12 lbs papayas (peeled, seeded, and finely shredded)
- 10 medium shrimp
- 2 chili peppers (Chopped)
- 1 medium carrot (Finely shredded)
- 12 cup chopped cilantro (or mint)
- Prepare the Nuoc Cham.
- Boil the shrimp in hot water for 3-4 minutes.
- Shell, devein, and slice in half.
- Set aside.
- In a salad bowl, combine the shredded papaya, shredded carrot, shrimps, cilantro (or mint), chopped chili pepper, Nuoc Cham, and mix well.
- Serve.
