Mexican Pasta Bake
- 1 lb lean ground meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- salt
- pepper
- 8 ounces whole wheat pasta
- 2 ounces light cream cheese, cubed (1/4 block)
- 8 ounces chunky salsa (1/2 jar)
- Brown ground meat and onion.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Drain meat if needed.
- Boil pasta.
- When pasta and meat are done drain well and mix together.
- You might not have to use the whole lb of meat.
- (this will save on calories if you dont use the whole pound).
- Mix into pasta and meat until melted.
- Add at least 1/2 jar of salsa and mix again.
- Bake at 350 for about 20 minute.
