Chocolate Snowballs

  1. Heat oven to 375F.
  2. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, egg, flour, cocoa, almonds and extract until soft dough forms.
  3. Shape dough into sixty 3/4-inch balls; wrap each around 1 milk chocolate candy.
  4. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
  6. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
  7. Cool slightly, about 5 minutes.
  8. Roll cookies in powered sugar.
  9. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  10. Re-roll cookies in powdered sugar.
  11. Store tightly covered.
  12. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change.
