Penne Pasta
- 4 cups Water
- 2 (about 4 Oz. Size) Sausage Links
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 pound Penne Pasta
- 1 jar (about 25 Oz. Size) Marinara Sauce
- 1/4 cups Freshly Grated Pecorino Romano Or Parmesan Cheese
- Add 1 inch of water to a high-sided skillet.
- I used a 10 skillet, so this was about 4 cups of water.
- Bring to a boil.
- Remove casings from Italian sausage links.
- Break up with a wooden spoon and heat in a skillet until fully cooked.
- Sprinkle the salt into boiling pasta water.
- Add penne to boiling salted water.
- Cook for about 9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until just about all water has evaporated from pan.
- Pour in jarred sauce and add in sausage crumbles.
- Turn heat off to pan.
- Mix all together.
- Sprinkle freshly grated Pecorino Romano or Parmesan cheese right over the top of pan or bowl.
