BAKER'S GERMANS Sweet Chocolate Snack Cake

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Microwave chocolate and 3/4 cup butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min.
  3. or until butter is melted.
  4. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
  5. Add whole eggs, sour cream and 1 tsp.
  6. vanilla; beat with mixer until blended.
  7. Add combined flour, sugar, baking soda and salt; mix well.
  8. Pour into 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  9. Bake 30 to 40 min.
  10. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  11. Cool completely.
  12. Cook sugar, evaporated milk, egg yolks, 6 Tbsp.
  13. butter and remaining vanilla in large saucepan on medium heat 6 min.
  14. or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
  15. Remove from heat; stir in coconut and nuts.
  16. Cool until thickened to spreading consistency, stirring occasionally.
  17. Spread over cake.
