Rhubecued Beef Ribs
- 4 lbs beef short ribs with bones
- 34 cup water
- 12 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1 cup chopped rhubarb
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 13 cup honey
- 13 cup chili sauce
- 34 cup rose wine
- 13 cup water
- 12 teaspoon basil
- 14 teaspoon black pepper
- Place ribs in a 9x13-inch pan; add 3/4 cup water, sprinkle with seasoned salt and cover with foil.
- Bake at 350 degrees for two hours.
- Combine rhubarb, soup mix, honey, chili sauce, wine, 1/3 cup water, basil and pepper in a saucepan.
- Simmer 30 minutes.
- Pour over ribs.
- Bake, uncovered, another 30 minutes, basting several times.
