Creamy Dijon Sauce

  1. Saute garlic in butter in large saucepan on medium heat 2 minutes.
  2. Add flour; stir with wire whisk until well blended.
  3. Cook 1 minute, stirring frequently.
  4. Add milk gradually, stirring with wire whisk until well blended.
  5. Cook until thickened, stirring frequently.
  6. Add cheese, mustard and red pepper; cook and stir until heated through.
  7. Serve as a sauce for hot cooked pasta or as a hot dipping sauce for appetizers and roasted vegetables.
