Appetizer Pate' Cheesecake Recipe
- 1 c. Crushed plain croutons
- 3 Tbsp. Margarine, melted
- 1 x Unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 c. Cool water
- 16 ounce Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
- 8 ounce Braunschweiger or possibly liver sausage
- 1/4 c. Mayonnaise
- 3 Tbsp. Pimiento, minced
- 2 Tbsp. Onion, grated
- 1 Tbsp. Prepared mustard
- 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
- Combine croutons and margarine; press onto bottom of 9" springform pan.
- Bake at 350F degrees, 10 min.
- Soften gelatin in water; stir over low heat till dissolved.
- Combine cream cheese and braunschweiger, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer till well blended.
- Gradually add in gelatin.
- Stir in remaining ingredients till blended; pour over crust.
- Refrigeratetill hard.
- Remove rim of pan.
