Cranberry Cake

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Beat in vanilla.
  4. Sift flour,baking and salt together.
  5. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
  6. Fold in cranberries.
  7. Pour into greased, floured pan.
  8. Bake 35 minutes or untill tested done.
  9. Serve with Hot Butter Sauce.
  10. Hot butter sauce: Melt butter in sauce pan, blend sugar, stir in cream.
  11. Simmer 3 to 4 minutes stirring occasionally.
