SUGAR BEAR Paw Cookies

  1. Beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in flour and baking soda.
  3. Stir in 3 cups cereal.
  4. Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake at 350F for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from cookie sheets.
  7. Cool on wire rack.
  8. Place chocolate in heavy saucepan on very low heat; stir constantly until just melted.
  9. Dip 1/2 of each cookie into melted chocolate; immediately sprinkle with additional cereal for paws.
  10. Place on wax paper-lined tray.
  11. Refrigerate until chocolate is firm.
  12. Store in tightly covered container.
