Peanut sauce (sambel kacang)

  1. Heat oil in a frying panand fry the peanuts for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and cool down.
  3. Peel the garlic and kencur.
  4. Wash the garlic, kencur, kaffir lime leaves, chilli.
  5. Put in all ingredients in a blender.
  6. Crush it well.
  7. Peanut sauce is ready.
  8. You can serve it with warm rice or chicken BBQ (sate ayam) and is so down to earth the taste.
  9. If you dont use it all in one time, you can pack it into small quantity and wrapping it with clingwrap.
  10. Store it in the fridge or freezer and you can defrost whenever you want to use it.
