butterscotch choc balls
- 1 packages butterscotch chips
- 1 packages semi sweet chocolate chips
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 cup icing sugar
- 4 tbsp vegetable shortening (divided)
- 1 1/2 cup plain brick style creme cheese
- melt 1 1/2 cups of butterscotch chips with butter.
- in heat proof bowl set of pot of simmering water.
- remove from heat.
- cool slightly.
- beat in cream cheeseuntil combined.
- chill 15 min
- for into balls(1tbsb in size) and arrange on parchment paper lined baking sheet.
- freeze for 20 minutes.
- well freezing your balls.
- melt chocolate chips with 3tbsp shortening same as you did for butterscotch chips
- melt butterscotch chips in seperate bowl and melt with remaining shortening
- use 2 forks to dip balls into melted choc chips to coat.
- gently tap excess choc on side of bowl.
- return to parchment paper.
- drizzle with butterscotch chips.
- chill 15 and enjoy
