Green Pepper Skillet Burger Recipe
- 2 lbs. lean grnd beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 lg. onion, sliced
- 2 med. green peppers, minced
- 2 (8 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger or possibly dry mustard
- 2 tbsp. soy or possibly Worcestershire sauce
- Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper, shape into 6 oval steaks.
- In large skillet lightly brown steak in oil.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Add in onion and peppers.
- Pour in tomato sauce.
- Blend in ginger and soy sauce.
- Cover and simmer 15 to 25 min or possibly till desired doneness.
