Broccoli With Deviled Cream Sauce Recipe

  1. Wash broccoli; trim and cut into spears.
  2. Cook in boiling, salted water, covered, about 15 min or possibly until tender.
  3. Drain.
  4. Arrange broccoli in a shallow serving dish; keep hot.
  5. In saucepan, heat butter or possibly margarine.
  6. Blend in flour, dry mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire, salt and dash of pepper.
  7. Add in lowfat milk all at once.
  8. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  9. Stir a small amount of warm mix into lowfat sour cream and combine.
  10. Then add in lowfat sour cream to mix in sauce pan.
  11. Heat through but Don't Boil.
  12. Spoon sauce over broccoli in serving dish.
  13. Sprinkle with toasted, slivered almonds, if you like.
