Bananas Foster Custard Recipe

  2. Toss banana slices with lemon juice; drain off excess.

  4. Set aside 6 banana slices for garnish; divide remaining slices proportionately among six lightly buttered 6-oz custard c..

  11. oven; pour VERY warm water into pan to within 1/2 inch of top of c..

  13. Bake about 40 to 50 min, till knife inserted near center comes out clean.

  15. Remove c. immediately from warm water; cold on wire rack 5 - 10 min.

  17. To serve, gently loosen custards with thin spatula; invert onto serving plates and garnish with reserved banana slices.

  19. Heat butter in small saucepan over low heat; blend in brown sugar, water and cinnamon.
  20. 10.
  21. Bring to a boil; boil 3 min.
  22. 11.
  23. Spoon about 1 Tbsp.
  24. warm syrup over each custard and serve immediately.
