The Best Stuffed Mushrooms in the World

  1. *Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel.
  2. * Remove stems from caps and chop the stems into small pieces.
  3. *Place mushroom caps top side down onto a baking pan.
  4. They should look like rows of cups.
  5. *Add remaining ingredients to the mushroom stems and mix well.
  6. You may have to add a little more mayo.
  7. You want all the ingredients to bind together and look slightly wet.
  8. *Over stuff each of the mushroom caps with the stuffing.
  9. Fill it as much as you can.
  10. The filling is where it is at!

  12. *Place your pan on a rack about 1/3 of the distance from the broiler.
  13. *Broil for about 10 minutes.
  14. Tops should be bubbly and brown and mushrooms should be soft.
  15. My oven takes about 10 minutes, yours may vary.
  16. *These things are like lava, yummy lava, when they come out.
  17. Allow to cool for a few minutes and then enjoy.
  18. You will have to make a second batch for your guests!
  19. **If you are short on time or making a lot of these you can also buy the REAL bacon crumbles instead of cooking a bunch of bacon.
  20. You find these with the regular bacon, sausage, lunch meat, etc...Do not use those fake red bacon pretenders!
