My Slow-Cooked Beans
- 2 cups dry pinto beans
- 1 (10 ounce) can tomato soup
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 12 lb bacon, cooked
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 12 teaspoon salt
- pepper
- 3 drops Tabasco sauce
- 12-1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- cilantro
- Soak beans in water for several hours.
- Boil beans in same water for 2 hours.
- Drain beans and place in crockpot with other ingredients.
- Stir well.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- The longer they cook the better they are.
