Sweet and Salty Chicken Breast (or Chicken Tender) Lemon Stir Fry
- 300 grams Chicken breast meat or chicken tenders
- 1 tsp Vinegar
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 tbsp White flour
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Hon-mirin
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 to 1 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 White sesame seeds (if you have)
- Remove the skin and sinew from the chicken and cut on the diagonal into bite size pieces.
- Put the chicken in a plastic bag, add some salt and pepper to season, and leave for 15 minutes or so.
- In the meantime, measure the sauce ingredients and combine.
- Add the flour to the plastic bag, close it up and shake it around.
- You can easily and evenly coat the chicken with the flour this way.
- Heat some oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken over medium heat.
- Flip over when browned on one side, lower the heat and steam-cook with a lid on for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the combined sauce in the frying pan and coat the chicken in it.
- Continue to cook while turning the chicken over until the sauce has thickened a bit and is no longer watery, and has coated the chicken.
- Put on a serving plate and sprinkle with white sesame seeds.
