Peanut Butter Balls

  1. Mix all together.
  2. I knead it with hands like bread, as it is stiff.
  3. Form into balls (roll in palm of hands), smaller than walnuts.
  4. Melt together in double boiler 3/4 of 1 block paraffin wax.
  5. Roll balls in chocolate mixture and put on wax paper lined cookie sheet.
  6. I use ice tea spoon with long handle to get them out of double boiler.
  7. If they stick to pan, you can pull them free by pushing them off wax paper by putting your hand under wax paper. Sounds harder than it is.
  8. Makes about 60 to 70.

butter, smooth peanut butter, confectioners sugar, chocolate bits, fine crumbs of vanilla wafers
