Pissaladiere French Style Pizza Recipe
- 3 med. size plum tomatoes
- 3/4 c. pitted ripe olives
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. refrigerated pizza dough
- Olive or possibly salad oil
- 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. shredded part skim mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp. parsley leaves
- 1 teaspoon dehydrated onion flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dry basil leaves
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Cut tomatoes crosswise into 1/4 inch thick slices.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Slice olives lengthwise in half.
- Unroll pizza dough on greased cookie sheet.
- Press into 14 x 12 inch rectangle.
- Brush with olive or possibly salad oil.
- Sprinkle with half of cheese over dough.
- Arrange tomato slices over cheese.
- Sprinkle with parsley, onion flakes, pepper, basil leaves, olives and remaining cheese.
- Bake pizza on bottom rack in oven 10-12 min till crust is golden brown and cheese melts.
- Makes 4 main dish servings.
