El Gusano Rojo

• Ice
• 1 1/2 ounces mezcal
• 1/2 ounce passion fruit nectar
• 2 ounces chilled ginger beer
• 1/2 ounce grenadine, preferably homemade

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Add the mezcal and passion fruit nectar and shake well.
3. Strain the drink into an ice-filled highball glass, stir in the chilled ginger beer and drizzle the grenadine on top; it will sink to the bottom.
