Triple Choc Flapjack
- 250 grams unsalted butter
- 100 ml water
- 3 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 grams light muscavado sugar
- 5 tsp dark chocolate cocoa powder
- 315 grams rolled oats
- 200 grams dark chocolate
- 200 grams white chocolate
- Pre-heat an oven to 220C / 200C fan.
- In a heavy based pan, add the butter, sugar, water & vanilla extract.
- Gently heat together till fully melted and combined.
- Take off the heat and add the oats.
- Mix well and then pour out into a baking tray.
- Place in the oven for 15-20mins.
- Remove from the oven and all low to completely cool.
- Once cooled, cut into slices.
- Begin to melt either the dark or white chocolate.
- Cover one side of the flap jack with the chocolate.
- Allow the chocolate to set then repeat previous step.
- Once set, place in the fridge to store.
