potato soup
- 2 cup chicken stock
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 onion
- 1 cup cubed ham
- 1 each chicken boullion cube
- 1 1/2 tsp pepper
- 6 small red potatoes
- 5 tbsp butter
- 5 tbsp flour
- 2 cup evaporated milk
- put everything, except, butter flour and evaporated milk into crock pot, cook on low 5-6 hours, one hour before its done add roux.
- for the roux, in saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour until thick, stir in evaporated milk, constantly stirring til thick, mix into crock pot and continue cooking the soup another hour.
