best chunky chips ever
- 4 large potatoes, unpeeled + chopped into chunky chips
- 1 vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup self raising flour
- 1 salt + pepper
- preheat fryer to temperature.
- brush chips in oil so lightly coated.
- mix dry ingrediants together.
- coat chips in the seasoned flour.
- deep fry them for 5 mins or until golden brown + set aside to drain.
- once drained put back in the oil briefly before serving to crisp them up.
- lovely with garlic mayonnaise or soured cream
