Ground Beef (Or Turkey) Taco Meat

  1. For the taco seasoning: Blend ingredients in small bowl.
  2. Set aside amount needed for taco meat.
  3. Store remainder in covered container in pantry.
  4. For the taco meat: In a large skillet, brown ground beef until no longer pink.
  5. Stir in minced onion, tomato sauce and taco seasoning and mix well.
  6. Increase heat to a mild boil.
  7. Add in cornstarch and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Serve on taco shells and garnish as desired.
