Tex-Mex Hash
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 (24 ounce) packagefrozen potatoes o'brien with onions and bell peppers
- 1 cup thick & chunky salsa
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 8 ounces shredded colby-monterey jack cheese, shredded
- In Large skillet, brown beef.
- Drain.
- Remove meat fro skillet and keep covered set aside.
- In same skillet heat oil over medium heat until hot.
- add potatoes, cook and stir 8 -10 minutes or until browned.
- Stir in salsa, chili powder and ground beef.
- Cook 5-8 minutes or until heated through.Sprinkle with cheese.
- Cover and cook 4 minutes over low heat or until cheese has melted.
