Easy Shiny Hassaku Jam
- 6 Hassaku citrus
- 600 grams Sugar
- 200 ml Water
- Wash the hassaku clean with water.
- Peel off the hassaku rinds as thinly as possible.
- Julienne the rinds and soak them in a bowl of water for 3 to 6 hours.
- Change the water if you can during the middle of the soaking process.
- Set aside the hassaku fruit and juice.
- Place the rinds, fruit, juice, sugar and water in a pot and simmer.
- Once the rinds become translucent and the overall texture thickens, it's done!
- Pour the jam into sterilized jars.
- Look how beautiful and shiny the end result turned out to be!
