Easy American Style Chop Suey Recipe
- 4 med. thick pork steaks
- 1 c. minced onion
- 1 c. minced celery
- 2 lg. cans La Choy bean sprouts
- 4 tbsp. cornstarch
- Soy sauce
- Rice
- Brown pork, onions, and celery in 3 Tbsp.
- of soy sauce.
- Cover and cook on medium heat till celery is tender.
- Drain 1 can of bean sprouts, discarding this liquid.
- Retain the liquid with the other can and add in both cans to the pork mix, cover and simmer for 1/2 hour.
- Thicken mix with cornstarch and serve over rice.
- Season with soy sauce.
- A good warm winter dish.
