Ada's Pork Chops Recipe
- 6 x Pork chops A smear of oil
- 1/4 c. Onion soup mix
- 3 ounce Sliced mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 can (6 ounce) (2/3 c.) evaporated lowfat milk Parsley for garnish
- Trim fat off pork chops.
- Brown chops in oil in a heavy skillet.
- Drain off any fat.
- Mix 1 c. water to onion soup mix.
- pour over the chops.
- Cover skillet and simmer till chops are tender (40-45 min).
- Add in evaporated lowfat milk and mushrooms to pan.
- Combine flour and 1/4 c. cool water.
- Blend into pan juices.
- Cook and stir under low heat till thick and bubbly.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
