A.1. Beef Stew
- 2 Tbsp. oil, divided
- 1 lb. beef top round steak, cut into bite-size pieces King Sooper's 1 lb For $3.77 thru 02/09
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 green pepper, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup A.1. Original Sauce
- 4 cups hot cooked instant white rice
- Heat 1 Tbsp.
- oil in Dutch oven or large deep skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add meat; cook and stir 4 to 5 min.
- or until evenly browned.
- Remove meat from pan; cover to keep warm.
- Add onions, peppers and remaining oil to pan; cook 2 to 3 min.
- or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
- Stir in broth and meat; bring to boil.
- Cover; simmer on medium-low heat 1 hour or until meat is tender.
- Stir in steak sauce.
- Serve over rice.
