Pepperoni Pinwheels

  1. Preheat oven to 375* F. Grease two baking sheets.
  2. Mix together the pepperoni, cheese, oregano, and egg yolk in a bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk egg white until foamy.
  4. Separate the crescent roll dough into four rectangles and seal at perforations.
  5. Spread pepperoni mixture over rectangles to within 1/4 inch of edges.
  6. Roll up rectangles, jelly-roll style, starting at a short edge.
  7. Pinch seams to seal.
  8. Slice each roll into six slices.
  9. Place slices onto greased baking sheets.
  10. Brush with egg white.
  11. Bake at 375F for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Serve warm; refrigerate leftovers.
