Blue Ribbon Refrigerator Cookies Recipe

• 1/2 c. butter
• 1 c. brown sugar, packed
• 1 egg
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 3/4 c. flour
• 1/2 teaspoon soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 c. nut meats, minced

1. Cream butter and sugar, add in egg and vanilla.
2. Combine with dry ingredients.
3. Divide dough in half and form into rolls, wrap in foil and freeze.
4. When ready to bake, remove from freezer and slice.
5. Bake immediately at 350 degrees for 8-10 min.
