Ribbon Salad
- 2 small boxes lime Jell-O
- 2 small boxes strawberry Jell-O
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 3 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
- 1 small box lemon Jell-O
- 1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
- Dissolve lime Jell-O as directed on box.
- Pour into 13 x 9-inch pan and let set until hard.
- Dissolve lemon Jell-O with 1 cup of boiling water.
- When warm, but not hot, mix in cream cheese and add the sugar, pineapple and nuts.
- Mix well.
- Score the already hardened layer of lime Jell-O with a fork.
- Pour the lemon mixture onto it and let it harden in the refrigerator.
- Mix the strawberry Jell-O as directed on box.
- When slightly cool, pour over lemon layer and return it to the refrigerator.
- When completely set, serve with a teaspoon of mayonnaise.
