Healthy Tasty Granola
- 14 cup olives or 14 cup canola oil
- 12 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 14 cup peanut butter (optional)
- 5 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 cup wheat flakes
- 1 cup rye flakes
- 1 cup flakes barley
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 12 cup pumpkin seeds
- 12 cup pecans or 12 cup slivered almonds
- 14 cup flaked coconut
- 12 cup roasted soybeans
- 12 cup wheat germ
- dried fruits such as raisins, dates, cranberries, etc...AFTER BAKING
- Mix oil, honey, vanilla, and peanut butter together.
- Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients, (flakes, seeds, nuts, coconut, & wheat germ).
- Mix well until evenly coated.
- Pour mixture onto 2 large greased cookie sheets.
- Bake 250 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Stir well and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- After baking mix in your choice of desired dried fruits.
- DO NOT BAKE with the fruits in the mixture or you will think you put rocks in your granola.
